Posted on March 26, 2014 by Welsh Food.

It has been revealed that 10 out of 12 adults recently affected by salmonella in the Carmarthenshire, Swanseaand Neath Port Talbot areas had eaten laverbread shortly before falling ill.

Public Health Wales have said anyone who bought laverbread on Tuesday or earlier that may have come from Penclawdd should throw it away. Anyone concerned about their health should either call NHS Direct Wales on 0845 4647 or contact their GP.
